| It's time to move. Your apartment is on the market, and you selected a real estate agent you have confidence in. People end up coming to the house, but no one is interested. So what's next? To help, I will suggest some ideas that will have more people showing up at your open house. We want your home sold. The front of your house is usually the first thing your buyer will see. The goal is to make the front of your house appealing to the eye. Everyone talks about the importance of a first impression, so you want to make sure it's a positive one. You want it to look neat and clean. Cut your grass if necessary, get rid of any weeds if there's any, if possible trim the bushes, plant some flowers, and if there's anything blocking your walkway, make sure it's clear. A clean and tidy apartment is very important. These particular ideas may include steam cleaning your carpets, washing your floors, cleaning up some of the dust, especially in those hard-to-reach areas, and cleaning your windows (on both sides). Some people that see your house may be somewhat picky, and so, they like to look at things in as much detail as they can. Try staying netural. The thinking here isn't to influence your customer with your own personal style. A potential buyer may might walk in, and see something they don't like. You want anyone and everyone who steps foot in your house to envision it as their own. Keeping things neutral is a proficient solution to this "problem."You shouldn't neglect good quality lighting. Of course, your costumers need to see your property. Seems understandable, right? Unfortunately, as a real estate agent myself, I've had quite a few cases where this element has been overlooked. Check your lights, and be sure they're working. And although it's a nice notion to do this, I'd probably be more concerned with areas that require more synthetic lighting. Some areas may include your basement for instance. It's also a sound idea to open your curtains. Lots of untreated light is what your are most definitely looking for.Fixing any damage. This can incorporate things like a new, fresh, coat of paint, patching holes in the wall, and torn screens. Make people see your place is in satisfactory condition. This would pretty much be a nice plus.Steering clear of clutter. The last thing you want is for one of your visitor to walk in, and feel like they can't move anywhere. Try your best to eliminate clutter. Remove any objects or items you don't need. The key is to create well-mannered, organized space. You want everyone that visits your condo to view it as their own. Even though the concepts above can be valuable, it unfortunately doesn't guarantee the sale or selling of one's house. Remember that the ultimate goal is to have your house feel inviting and have your client think about it as their own. The only thing that is left now is to take action. Good luck!
