Master Bathroom Remodel

When I got my house I said I was just going to move into it as it was and not do any upgrades. Then I started painting it--it's along story, but basically it snowballed from there to a complete remodel. When I am done, nothing from the drywall out will be original.

This is my new master bathroom. It is the old bathroom and the closet that used to be next to it. My old bathroom was buil tin 1979 and nothing had changed since then.

All I need to do is get the shower enclosure, which is on its way, and do the backsplash so the faucets can get installed.

I took me some effort to get this shot. There is an SB-26 in the bathroom on the toilet with a Stofen on it at 1/4 power. I put another SB-26 in the tub firing up at 1/8th or 1/16th power. I was wedged in the corner with an SB-26 at my feet firing up and down the hall. I also had a 580EX in my hand with a Stofen bouncing off the ceiling and aimed to fill the hall along with one more outside the bathroom through the opening to the right. The one out of theroom was at 1/1 with my Hme Depot Ball and the one in my hand was at full or 1/2 power. Yeah I used every speedlight I had. I triggered with eBay Cactus V2s and shot with a 30D and 10-22mm lens.

I used my light meter to figure out the light coming in the window was F5.6 at 1/200th. So I setup my strobes for F8--worked out pretty well and I have to say I like using a merer as opposed to chimping.
